Twinkal Dalal, MD specializes in the treatment of people with acute and chronic pain problems including lower back and neck pain, joint pain, complex regional pain syndrome, neuralgia, chronic migraine headache and myofascial pain. She completed her medical degree from B J medical college in India followed by three years residency training in Anesthesia. At that time, she was involved in research project on Intercostal nerve block for Breast surgery and comparison of butorphanol, fentanyl and pentazocine for perioperative pain.

After moving to United States, She started her anesthesia residency at prestigious John H Stroger Hospital of Cook County, Chicago and completed her anesthesia training from University of Missouri, Columbia. During her training period, she has done multiple presentations at regional and national level meetings. She served as a clinical instructor in the department of anesthesia at University of Missouri Columbia. Then she decided to pursue her career in pain medicine field. She finished pain medicine fellowship from ACGME accredited program of the John H Stroger Hospital of Cook County, Chicago. During her residency and fellowship training Dr. Dalal pursued several research and clinical studies.

Her current practice focuses on acute pain management, interventional pain management for chronic low back, neck pain, arthritis pain, joint injection, botox injection for chronic headache and cervical dystonia, radiofrequency ablation, ultrasound guided nerve blocks and platelet rich plasma injection. She has done multiple posters and oral presentations at national and International pain meetings. Dr. Dalal has been invited as a workshop faculty for ISSPCON 2018 pain conference in India where she handled workshop on ultrasound guided acute pain procedures. She is associated with Anesthesiology Professionals since September 2014.
