Nicole has over 14 years of experience in clinical trial research management and operations. Areas of expertise include Phase I-IV industry sponsored and investigator initiated clinical trials (medical device and drug development), regulatory affairs, and monitoring for both academic institutions, clinical research and site management organizations.

Nicole’s background includes working as a Clinical Research Coordinator, Clinical Trial Monitor, Regulatory Site Start-Up Specialist and as a Project Manager. Therapeutic areas of experience include pain and joint management, cardiovascular, CNS-psychiatric, endocrinology, infectious disease, pulmonary, rheumatology, urology and woman’s health.

She has facilitated and supported submissions of internal and extramural National Institutes of Health (NIH) infrastructure grants for academic research.

In 2008, Nicole received her Masters Degree in Hospital Administration from the University of Kansas Medical Center, School of Medicine. During her graduate studies, she received the Peter T. Bohan Medical School Scholarship for academic excellence. She holds a Bachelors degree in Communication Studies.

Nicole has managed both domestic and global clinical trials. She is responsible for maintenance of all regulatory documents, IRB submissions, patient enrollment and recruitment, and conduct of study procedures in accordance with study protocols and database management.

Nicole is a member of the local Kansas City chapter of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and is currently working toward receiving her CCRP certification.

Her passion is to uphold the mission of managing clinical research activities for Kansas Pain Management (d/b/a Neuroscience Research Center, LLC), part of which is to exceed expectations to increase the quality of life for a patient’s well-being.
